31 Aug Perspective of Liberal Arts: Students with learning disabilities
A good start for this final presentation on Special Education and Learning Disabilities, Sheronaca. Your Title Slide clearly identifies the topic and the lenses. And your Introduction Slide explains a little more about why you have selected this topic, which allows your audience to have some context or understanding of your interest. And I see you included Speaker Notes along with this submission (though not in a Word document as required). Keep in mind these notes are essentially a transcript of your remarks about this project, including details and elaboration on these points from the readings beyond what can be read on the slides. This means the notes are not there to simply repeat the information on the slides but add to what is already on the slides. Also, it appears the content included did not come from the articles assigned in the Learning Modules for these lenses. Be sure to return to Modules Four/Five to find the assigned readings associated with the two lenses you selected and use these articles to complete the final presentation. Again, using the Speaker Notes will allow for these points to be expanded upon or examples added. Convergence and Divergence, did well to include some general comparisons between these two lenses. However, adding more details could help to better demonstrate specific ways these lenses are similar or how they are different when speaking about this topic. For the slide on Further Exploration, did well to include at least two questions to help explore your topic beyond this presentation. Missing a few keywords to help search for articles to help address these questions. For the Conclusion slide, did well to add some reflecting thoughts on this topic but missing a deeper discussion about your specific topic and these lenses. Use the Speaker Notes to expand upon your points and add detail without overwhelming your slides. Proofreading this presentation would be beneficial.
