31 Aug Newspaper Article Critique
Newspaper Article Critique : one or two page (double or 1.5-spaced) critique on your selected online newspaper article topic in Chemistry (from https://www.nytimes.com/section/science).
The online article should be more than nine paragraphs (and single sentences as paragraphs do not count) or greater than 750 words. No CD, DVD, flash drives, other storage devices or computer files are to be used in class without instructor permission. You may use only the PC word processor tools (e.g. Word Spelling, Word Grammar or Word Thesaurus), where online dictionaries or other sites are not allowed. And you may use notes only if they are turned in with your assignment (you are always responsible for fasteners). Remember notes are not items you transcribe for the actual assignment. You should include:
1. A clear summary of the article in one paragraph.
2. One paragraph to critique the article (answering the following points of inquiry). a. Is it accurate.
b. Does the article distinguish fact from speculation.
c. Is the article well referenced.
3. The link of the article.
