You are required to view amovie related to political themes discussed in class and complete a 4-5 pageevaluation paper.

After you have watched yourfilm, complete a 4-5 page paper concerning the film, and the themes and eventsit portrays. Your primary focus should be to describe the theme of the movie(Cold War, genocide, etc.) and discuss whether or not the film presented anaccurate picture of the theme (For example, does Schindlers List accuratelyportray the Holocaust?). Your secondary focus should be the specific eventsportrayed (for example, does Schindlers List accurately portray OskarSchindlers life and camp?) and/or the culture of the time when the movie wasreleased (i.e., how was The Manchurian Candidate viewed in America in the1960s?).
To examine the films accuracy,you will need to do some basic academic research of the theme and events. You will need at least three academicsources. Check JSTOR and the library for sources. If you have any questionsor concerns, please do not hesitate to ask.
Your final paper should be fourpages, typed, double-spaced in Times or Times New Roman font with standardmargins. You should use the MLA style. Paper will be submitted for review then a request may be made for corrections.
