research, and briefly describe, the 7 leadership styles noted below. Leaders from the areas of government, education, and /or business (past or present) may be chosen and used as an example for each style (discuss their role as a leader and how he/she demonstrated this leadership style). Finally, select one of the styles that are of most interest to you…..for a more in-depth study and discussion.
Leadership styles to be reviewed:
1). Authoritarian, 2). Democratic, 3). Laissez-Faire, 4.) Transactional,
5). Transformational, 6). Situational, and 7). Servant
Requirements for the assignment are:
1).10 pages in length; APA Manual of Style, 7th edition format; double spaced with one-inch margin, 12 pt. font, a minimum of seven legitimate sources, thorough research of the subject, meaningful contribution/demonstration of critical thinking skills, and correct grammar/writing mechanics.
Students are advised to confirm that all work meets the APA Manual of Style Requirements and to thoroughly check spelling and grammar BEFORE submission of all documents. Remember, PDF formats are unacceptable (submit all written assignments in a Word format).
NOTE: The paper should include a cover page, an abstract, the body of the paper, and reference page(s) —10 pages total with at least seven (7) sources.
