For this week’s exam, now that you understand the basics of business, imagine that in three years’ time you decide to start your own business.
- What are the components of running a successful business? Describe what success looks like beyond just profit statements. What aspects make the best businesses stand out, and what departments or supports are needed to help keep it running?
- Consider the many different aspects of business that you need to understand in order to succeed. Identify two (2) areas of knowledge that you want to focus on understanding better now to help you succeed as a businessperson then. Outline a strategy you will implement to help you broaden your knowledge or experience in these areas.
- Consider the major skills needed to run a business. Identify two (2) skills that you want to focus on improving now to help you succeed as a businessperson then. Outline a strategy you will implement to help you improve each skill.
