Please read the article on HRQOL in Postpartum Depressed Women, as well as HRQOL and Cardiac,posted under Weekly Class Material for 8/12.  These are more advanced articles but they follow the same format.  Please answer the below discussion points for the CARDIAC article.   Review the material for Chapter 10 first.  Below I’ve included a list of discussion topics I’d like you to cover in your primary post (followed by several shorter comments among you and your peers):

• what is being studied
• what is/are the dependent variables (outcomes)
• what are the other variables (predictors)
• discuss the statistical steps conducted and to what end, for this particular research study
• what is alpha at the various steps in the analysis?
• are preconditions discussed?  if so, what is noted?
• what is the purpose of table 2
• what statistical test was used in table 2
