- Prompt #1: Is attending Alabama A&M University, an HBCU, a waste of time and experience? Why or why not? (Sell me and others on AAMU, an HBCU!) Explain your answer using specific reasons and examples to support your position. Also, if you did not know, research is to add to and support your thoughts and document them in your essay. You may use your parents, grands, siblings, friends, and even social media as well as local and national news sources for support.
- Prompt #2: Many people believe that to spare the rod is to spoil the child which is the best policy. In your opinion, is it ever okay to use or not use corporal punishment? Explain your answer to support your position using specific reasons and examples. Again, you may use the opinions of others as well as any news sources (local and or national) for support. Also, if you did not know, research to add to and back up your thoughts and document them in your essay.
