The New Deal was created by President Franklin D Roosevelt. It was a collection of new rules and policies to try and help further establish the American economy, and to try and get Americaout of the Great Depression. Two of the New Deal's main focuses were bank crashes and unemployment. One of the things that President Roosevelt created was the "Brain Trust". The Brain Trust was a group of people that Roosevelt gathered together to help make policies for the country alongside Roosevelt. Even though this group was intented to do good in the nation, it is questionable whether what they did benefitted the country, or just caused greater division. Another thing that Roosevelt did was he created the National Bank Holiday, where all banks get the day off for any national holiday. ( explain in own words 100 words)
