On February 15, 2018, Carol Brady was driving to Walmart to pick up some groceries. On her way, she was rear-ended by another driver, Archie Bunker. A police officer arrived on the scene of the accident and issued Archie a ticket for careless driving. Carol was taken to the hospital and was diagnosed with a broken leg, a concussion and a laceration to her forehead. Carol had to get 12 stitches on her head that will leave a permanent scar. Carol’s car was damaged in the amount of $2,500.00 and she had to miss 2 weeks of work. The accident happened in Hypoville, Tudor County, Florida, where Carol lives; the Defendant is a resident of the neighboring county in Florida, Freedonia County. The total damages being sought are over $15,000.00. Both counties are within the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Florida.
