Case: Boldly Go: Character Drives Leadership at Providence Healthcare
The Case Write-Up: As a member of this course, you will be demonstrating your ability to review and assess various business situations based upon cases.
1. This is an OPINION PAPER and you MUST focus on the COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS/ASPECTS of this case in writing your report.
2. Your assignment is how Providence should build upon the improvements that have already taken place focusing on the communications aspects of the case.
You must include:
• Identify the problems
• Possible solutions
• Recommendations
• Expected outcomes
1. This is NOT to be a review of the case “We Want Your Opinion from a Communication Perpective”. Do NOT repeat any of the case details.
2. You need to be extremely specific. No double equations, No Citations
3. Don’t fall into the trap that a case only has a specific chapter theme or problem.
4. All themes must be identified so we can understand how they impact the theme being discussed.
These write-ups should be:
• typed, 1.5 spaces,
• one-inch margins on all sides,
• 12 pt. Times New Romans,
• With page numbers.
• Single space typed
• Two pages (maximum length)
