Overview

For this Assessment, you will answer a series of short answer questions to you will examine four real-life hate crime cases in order to determine what characteristics make each a hate crime. You will also examine the effects of each hate crime, potential community responses, and how criminal justice organizations can address the impact of hate crimes.

Professional Skills: Engaging Multiple Social and Cultural Perspectives, Information Literacy and Inquiry and Analysis are assessed in this Competency.

Submission Length: 5 items with responses ranging 1–3 paragraphs in length.

This Assessment requires the submission of one (1) document: a completed Written Response Template.
