- Review the Gender and Age in Occupation table that has been provided for you (see below)
- Select one row of the table (one occupation) on which to focus
- Create a Powerpoint (or similar format) displaying the following information:
- Slide 1: Title; A visual (picture, graph or chart–MUST REFLECT DATA ON THE CHART BELOW); and 2-3 bullet points highlighting the data reported; Your name (small, in the bottom right corner)
- Slide 2: Prepare a complete paragraph of dialogue that fully explains your information. Discuss what the numbers mean. You should also attempt to explain the discrepancy between the male and female representation in the occupational field. Besides possible discrimination, what other variables could be influencing these differences? (Think sociologically!!)
