Scenario:

A  student brings a knife to school.  During class, the student pulls the knife out and begins pressing it into their stomach.  A fellow student witnesses the scene, takes a picture of the student and emails school administration asking that the student be checked on.  When administration checks on the student, they indeed retrieve a knife from the student. The student goes with school administration to the counselor's suite and then verbalizes the desire and intent to kill themselves.
