Week 6 Activity – Vendor Strategies

Overview

Next week, you will submit the assignment, Management at a Company. In this assignment, you will be looking at the role a manager has in change management and decision making by examining one of the following companies:

• Southwest Airlines.
• Walmart.
• Apple.

This activity will help you prepare for the Week 7 assignment by focusing on one aspect that you will be asked to evaluate: management's decision on its use of vendors and spokespersons.

Instructions

Complete a 1–2 paper in which you:

• Identify which company you will use for the assignment and explain why you chose this company.
  • Provide a sound rationale.
• Identify some key vendor strategies used by the selected company.
  • Provide sufficient detail.
