Very informative posts and staffing today and in the future will greatly affect the healthcare industry as well as patient quality of care. Healthcare organizations will have to come up with creative initiatives in order to have the best and most robust healthcare staff. An aging baby-boomer population and a shortage of healthcare providers and nurses will continue. In order for healthcare organizations to be successful in the future, they will have to recruit early, and offer continuing education packages, leadership opportunities, and a very diverse workplace in order to compete for the best personnel that will be in high demand. Additionally, offering innovative hours and incentives will be invaluable in retaining and recruiting staff. 

Do we have any nursing professionals who have seen any of these initiatives in their healthcare organizations today?
