The education department called you, the HIM manager. because they need help in the vacancy of the HIPAA privacy officer who is on a surgical leave. The education department was working with Vicki, HIPAA privacy officer, to prepare a privacy training module for a group of RN interns starting at LiveWell when urgent surgery became necessary for Vicki.
