1.  Fostering a growth mindset in the classroom is a powerful tool for improving student motivation. Provide an example of a student who is experiencing a fixed mindset. How would you address this in your classroom and help that student shift their thinking from fixed to growth? 

2.  Autonomy is an important part of developing motivation. Within the grade level you plan to teach, how can you encourage autonomy in the classroom? Provide 2-3 specific examples of how students will practice autonomy in your classroom.
