In  this assignment, you will identify and research an educational  philosopher with which your own educational beliefs most closely align  with historical philosophical foundations of education in a PowerPoint  presentation.

This assignment fulfills:

• Module  Outcome 3: You will have built your personal philosophy of education  based on historical and philosophical foundations of education. (SLO 2)
• Student  Learning Outcome 2: You will have built your personal philosophy of  education based on historical and philosophical foundations of  education.

The Assignment

Select the educational  philosopher with which your own educational beliefs most closely align.  Using PowerPoint, Prezi, or other web presentation method, create a  presentation that includes:

1. Title slide
2. A brief biography of the philosopher,
3. Major beliefs of the philosopher,
4. The philosopher’s contributions to the education system of the United States,
5. Your personal philosophy statement, and
6. How your personal philosophy aligns with the philosopher’s beliefs.
7. A reference slide listing all sources used in APA documentation style.
