This  assignment will provide a first step in self-reflection to help you  establish your role as a teacher in creating an inclusive environment.

This assignment fulfills:

• Module  Outcome 1: You will have identified various areas of student diversity  and the impacts that diversity has on classrooms, schools, and teaching.
• Student Learning Outcome 1: You will have researched current issues in birth-grade 12 education.
• Student  Learning Outcome 3: You will have explained the role of the federal  government in public and private education and how it relates to state  and local government and school boards.

1. Identify various areas of student diversity that you feel most likely to encounter in your future classroom.
2. In your opinion, what impacts might those areas of diversity have on your classroom?
3. Specifically,  focus on your role as a teacher and your responsibility to create an  inclusive environment for all students and share some at least five  ideas you plan to implement to help create an inclusive environment
