Week 1 Discussion: Why Human Services?
If you could answer the questions “Why human services?” and “Why a master’s degree?” what would you say? Any number of reasons could have brought you here to Walden—for example, a desire to advance your career, be a stronger advocate for diverse populations, or hone human services leadership skills. As you continue in your program, it will be important for you to remain connected to these reasons and to your professional goals.
In this first Discussion, you share your vision for your future work as an advanced human services professional practitioner.
