Create a table similar to the one in item 3 above.  You are to design two assessment tasks in the cognitive domain, one for children under age 2 (sensorimotor stage), and the other for a child between ages 2-5 (preoperational stage). Use Piaget’s Stages of cognitive development to think about these children’s abilities and design an assessment task that is developmentally appropriate.
