Conduct an interview with a school leader (a higher education Program Coordinator, Dean, Program Chair, Director, or Chancellor level administrator) about a legal issue that involved a social justice decision on his or her part. Prepare a 5-page APA paper that summarizes the interview, the issue discussed, and the legal foundation for the decisions made. Include a short introduction and references.
Include the following in the interview and writing:
Compare the scenario described to the concepts studied in this course.
Critically analyze the decision-making represented by the school leader, and state whether federal or state authorities would support the decisions made?
How did the school leader employ analysis and reflection to manage and resolve the situation?
Did the school leader demonstrate strong ethical thinking in relation to the situation?
Include an examination/description of whether or how students’ or teachers’ rights were taken into consideration. Include the school leader’s examination of the whole situation and its impact on various stakeholders.
Provide a step-by-step analysis of the situation and whether it was managed appropriately, among other issues.
