Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum read Chapter 3: Providing Equal Employment Opportunity and a Safe Workplace (Noe et al., 2022). You may wish to review “A Model for Crafting Diversity, Inclusion, Respect, and Equity (Dire) Policy Statements Toward Catalyzing Organizational Change” (Gentle-Genitty et al., 2021), and “A Closer Look at the Business Case for Diversity: The Tangled Web of Equity and Epistemic Benefits” (Steel & Bolduc, 2020).

Choose one of the following three cases from the end of Chapter 3 in the textbook (Noe et al., 2022): Neurodiversity at Work: SAP Takes the Lead, Google Continues Its Search for Diverse Talent, or Buffer Isn’t Bashful about Mental Health.

In an initial post of at least 350 words and citing at least two required resources, discuss the legal and ethical issues of the chosen case.

• What are some of the challenges you would face as an HRM leader in managing these issues?
• Formulate a strategy that an HRM leader could take to address the issues.
