Since each child develops at his or her own pace, it can be difficult for families to recognize the difference between typical and atypical development. This is often where teachers can step in and provide resources and information on typical and atypical development. Teachers should be able to provide support by specialized experts in the classroom as well as other professionals and resources for families.

Create a 500-750 word informational digital brochure for families of preschool aged children (3-5 years old).

In this brochure:

• Define typical and atypical development of children in this age group.
• List five examples of atypical behaviors and interventions that can provide support for atypical behaviors.
• Provide five local resources and/or specialized experts for parents to discuss concerns with relating to children demonstrating atypical behaviors or development.
• List two additional contacts for further assistance in supporting the needs of these young children.
