For this week's assignment, respond to the following questions:

1. Select a health care organization of your choice (e.g. hospital, managed care company, nursing home, rehab center, physician practice, etc.), visit its website, and post whether (or not) the organization has been accredited and by the specific accreditation organization. Briefly describe the accreditation organization and then discuss why you think the accreditation is important to health care organizations.
2. Select a healthcare organization of your choice (as above) and identify the regulatory agencies who survey them and at what frequency? Have you ever been through a regulatory survey? If yes, what was your role? What was the experience like? Did you notice different behaviors in the facility?
