Create a 10-12 slide digital scrapbook presentation that can be presented to your administrator for approval. The digital scrapbook should include the following:

Prior to the trip:

Pre-planning considerations, including transportation, safety, modifications, cost, and lunch/snacks.

Explain how you will guide chaperones that are culturally and linguistically responsive and consider the environment and delivery approach. Chaperones can include families, paraeducators, tutors, and other volunteers.

Include the standards and objectives from Topic 2 that will be the focus of the field trip.

Include any vocabulary or prior knowledge the students will have learned before the field trip.

During the trip:

Incorporate pictures to describe what the students will do and see during the field trip.

Explain how what the students will do and see during the field trip aligns with the theme and enhances learning.

After the trip:

Provide examples of 2-3 age-appropriate activities to implement after the field trip that can assess what the students learned and provide feedback on how well the field trip enhanced the unit. The activities should provide students with multiple ways to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

Describe any modifications to the curriculum or instruction that may need to be considered after the field trip (re-teaching, additional extension opportunities, etc.) to promote positive outcomes.

Presenter’s notes are required for each content slide. Presentation must include a title slide at the beginning, and a reference slide with documentation of resources at the end. The title slide and reference slide are not included in the total number of slides.

The digital presentation should include graphics that are relevant to the content, visually appealing, and use space appropriately.
