· Review the “Practicum/Field Experience Placement Guidelines” document in the Practicum/Field Experience section of the Student Success Center. In STEP 3, access and review the Practicum/Field Experience Overview module. Describe how you will introduce yourself to the potential classroom teacher and what important information you will provide to them upfront.
· For one of the courses in your program listed in the Practicum/Field Experience Fact Sheet, list the required hours and setting. Think about a potential site where you might complete the required hours and provide details on how that site will provide a valuable experience.
· After learning about the Participant Roles in the “Clinical Field Experience Handbook,” list the six participant roles. Describe how each might help you successfully complete your practicum/field experience requirements.
