19 Feb Perspectives Essay Literature Human Concern
Create an alphanumeric outline for your upcoming Retelling Essay, then submit it to D2L. Directions for the retelling essay are attached. Include your thesis statement in your outline. There is no requirement for number of paragraphs, but I suggest at least 4-5 so you can meet the page length of 2 pages. I should be able to tell what the event was from the outline, and you can provide as many details as you like.

Perspectives Essay 2: Literature Human Concern
While good literature contains conflict, sometimes that conflict can reflect overarching struggles for humanity, some problems old and some new, some universal and some not.
Select one work from the list below (it is in no way meant to be comprehensive for all books for all time) for your second essay.
In 2-4 page paper set in MLA style, you will write an essay responding to one of the prompts below:
1.Discuss how your selected work covers the human concern(s) and the effects. Include cited evidence from the book as well as at least two academic articles or academic secondary sources.
2.Discuss how the human concern(s) is presented in the book you selected, and how the human concern fits in context of your own worldview. A worldview can be built through faith, culture, politics, gender, race, age, and other factors, as well as a combination of those. Include cited evidence from the book as well as at least two academic articles or academic secondary sources.
