Classroom rules, procedures, and routines that are clear and concise help optimize time for instruction and allow the learning environment to operate efficiently. Students and teachers need to have procedures that are based on the needs of the particular class and those procedures should be modeled, practiced, and reinforced at the beginning of and throughout the year.
Imagine that your school is adopting a new initiative for the upcoming school year to ensure teachers in the district are maintaining positive, safe, and productive classroom environments. You have been asked to complete a classroom management planning template to share your ideas at an upcoming team meeting.
